What We Do
Broken Rainbow UK is a charity and company limited by guarantee. It has a small staff team and the work is overseen by a Board of Trustees. See our list of staff and trustees.
We run the only UK LGBT domestic violence helpline. It is staffed by highly trained sessional workers and volunteers. We can provide active listening, signposting, referrals, advice, etc. Read more information about our LGBT Domestic Violence Helpline.
We provide training to front line services, the Police, the Probation Services, Local Authorities, etc, surrounding the issues involved in lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans domestic violence.
We can provide speakers for conferences, trainers for workshops/events. We can send you leaflets, posters and publicity materials for your service users. Please contact us for more information.
We make press releases on current law and legislation, and events, surrounding LGBT domestic violence.
We hold fundraising events, and pilot schemes to spread the word about LGBT Domestic Violence.
We have a large Facebook group and a Twitter account.
We collect quotes that can be used in your publications (please contact us for release)
We have a newsletter for training, events, conferences, and news.
